Policy Alternatives

A number of Policy Alternatives to Neoliberalism exist. Some of these alternatives were developed in response to neoliberal policy. Other alternatives developed prior to neoliberal trends.  Each of the following sections will provide an outline of the nature, scope and distribution of each alternative policy framework.  To provide an introduction to the alternative policy frameworks various contextual issues will be addressed:  a brief explanation of each policy and principles, policy origins, associated definitions, historical context, principal actors and theorists, and a brief outline of the associated discourses.
